Governs all Web, Mobile App (Android/iOS), API services, and monetary event registries provided by Event Owner App.

Event Owner App implements multi-layered encryption, automated database snapshots, and enterprise security standards. In the unlikely event of system disruption or data loss, we guarantee prompt user notification and immediate deployment of technical recovery protocols to restore your event records and digital assets.
Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Event Owner App ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website at https://eventownerapp.com, our mobile applications (Android APK and iOS Web/Native), and associated API services, you enter into a legally binding agreement to comply with these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue platform access immediately.
User Accounts & Eligibility
To create an event, manage guest rosters, process cash registries, or list vendor services, you must register an account. You represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity to enter contracts in your jurisdiction.
- All information provided during registration (full name, email address, phone number) is accurate and complete.
- You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality, passkey security, and biometric credentials on mobile devices.
Event Host Obligations
Event Creators and Organizers maintain complete ownership and responsibility over their events, custom registries, and guest communications:
- Content Authenticity: You warrant that event descriptions, schedules, media uploads, and registry items do not violate copyrights, trademarks, or local laws.
- Guest Data Protection: You agree to collect and process guest telephone numbers, dietary preferences, and check-in records solely for event execution.
- Cash Gift Registries & Tributes: Monetary gifts and spray money collected through Event Owner App must comply with applicable banking regulations and tax requirements.
Guest Code of Conduct & Live Wall Media
Guests accessing event portals, QR code passes, or interactive Live Photo Walls must adhere to standard community guidelines:
- QR access passes are non-transferable unless permitted by the event organizer.
- Photos, messages, and tributes submitted to Live Photo Walls or Guest Books must not contain defamatory, explicit, or unlawful material. Event Owner App reserves the right to moderate and remove inappropriate content instantly.
Financial Transactions, Platform Fees & Payouts
Financial transactions for ticket purchases, cash gift registries, spray money, vendor bookings, and consultancy sessions are processed via PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, OPay, Monnify).
- Transparent Fees: Standard platform fees (where applicable) are itemized clearly prior to checkout.
- Host Payouts: Registry payouts and vendor settlements are processed to verified bank accounts following anti-fraud verification checks.
- Auto-Hiding Inactive Gateways: Payment options are automatically hidden whenever a payment provider is unconfigured or disabled for maintenance.
Vendor & Venue Marketplace Terms
Vendors and venues listed on Event Owner App operate as independent service providers. Event Owner App provides the booking orchestration software but is not party to service contracts executed between hosts and vendors.
Data Security, Backups & Incident Response
We employ TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit and AES-256 for sensitive data at rest. Database snapshots are executed hourly. In the event of system maintenance or infrastructure incidents, our incident response team executes immediate data recovery protocols.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Event Owner App and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party vendor performance, internet connectivity outages, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable technical control.
